Die Vorträge finden im Hörsaal des Instituts für Erdwissenschaften, Bereich Mineralogie und Petrologie der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, Universitätsplatz 2/II statt und werden in Zusammenarbeit mit der Österreichischen Mineralogischen Gesellschaft, der Österreichischen Geologischen Gesellschaft, der Österreichischen Paläontologischen Gesellschaft, der Österreichischen Vereinigung für Hydrogeologie, dem naturwissenschaftlichen Verein für Steiermark und dem Joanneum-Verein Graz veranstaltet.
